I may be fairly young to be considering hair loss products.. but I suffer from unhealthy hair. Unhealthy probably isn’t the right word.. It’s thin, breaks easily, and more than should falls out at any given time. I have a patchy spot on the back of my head (right in between my ears) fortunately my hair covers it from the top. Don’t think I have mentioned it previously – but I have an issue with my mother nature not visiting on time (sometimes missing visits altogether – 5 months one time!) Alongside my ovarian cysts – almost PCOS but not diagnosed, so it may well be down to hormonal changes, dieting, nutrient deficiency or even stress. Hair loss can occur for a multitude of reasons really.
I was offered some of Follione’s hair loss preventing products to review and they honestly couldn’t have came at a better time really as I was researching different methods to try save my luscious locks.
I was sent 3 products to review.
The Growth stimulator for women.
- Gently strengthens your scalp, allowing the ingredients to penetrate the scalp without evaporating or crystallizing – healthy scalp = healthy hair growth.
Initial thoughts – smells odd. Thankfully you only use a tiny amount.
Unfortunately No longer Sold Via Amazon.
The FoliOne anti-hairloss shampoo
- Stimulate hair growth and prevent hairloss.
- Support a healthy scalp, new hair follicles and the growth of hair cells
- Reduce Sebaceous secretion from the scalp (oil in the skin)
- Targets dandruff caused by hairloss
- Enhances the bodys ability to prevent the recurrence of scalp itching, irritation, redness and flaking.
- Contains Caffeine – and everyone raves about the benefit of caffeine in hair products, right?
Initial thoughts: The shampoo is very runny. I found it odd to use as I was so much more used to traditional shampoo formulas. It has a really strong smell, reminds me of being in hospital or concentrated vitamins!

The Liquid hair nutrition
- Give your hair the essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals and protein it needs for normal growth.(as hair is made up of protein)
Initial thoughts: When I asked for this, I actually thought it was something I put on my hair. (whoops!) Turns out it’s a daily dietary supplement. I’m used to taking a multivit so I just took this instead for a few weeks. Its orange flavoured (classic vitamin smell) I looked up the ingrediants, and it seems to be a very specific “Made for purpose” multivitamin liquid. I imagine you could get similar results if you seriously researched and purchased multiple vitamins, but that would take a long time and a lot of effort. This seems to be a good all in one, ready to go product.

Now overall – my hair does feel better, it feels stronger perhaps a little thicker and I’m noticing less breakages however I’m not sure how much of this is down to the products or how much of this is down to me washing it more frequently (normally wash it once a week!) Naturally there would be less breakages anyway. I do feel better and less lethargic which I’m pretty sure is down to the nutrition supplement, then again I didn’t actually take anything other than your everyday multivitamin beforehand.

I’d say if you’re worried about your hair and it’s health – give it a go. It’s quite expensive in my opinion, I think if my hair was in worse condition than it is I’d definitely consider these.

Although I was sent these products for free in exchange for a review.. my review is completely my own words and not influenced in anyway whatsoever.
