I am forever forgetting which films I’ve watched and enjoyed. So I’ve decided to do Once a month roundup of the films I’ve actually took the time to sit and watch alongside a review my opinion on the movie considering it’s to jog my memory..

Movie – 10 Cloverfield Lane

I’m right into my sci-fi, horror, thriller stuff. So this happened to be right up my street. All in all, it’s about 3 folk in a bunker, but they make it so much more. Great film – has a few twists in it. I’d recommend it if you’re a bit of a weirdo like oneself. I have to say it’s virtually nothing like Cloverfield, so if that’s what’s holding you back then give it a bash.

8.5/10  Would watch again.

Movie – Animal

Decided to watch this, a bit on the edge with this one. It was quite good to watch but it’s very predictable. All the classic “stand and watch friend getting eaten by said beastly thing whilst screaming and practically offering myself as seconds”moves are seen here. Cliche characters too.

5/10 Wouldn’t watch, unless incredibly drunk & after a thriller/gore.

TV Season – Black Mirror – Season 1

Now according to Wiki –
“Black Mirror is a British television anthology series created by Charlie Brooker that features speculative fiction with dark and sometimes satirical themes that examine modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of new technologies ”

It’s quite fucking weird, but it’s the kinda weird that you just can’t stop watching. I really liked them. You should totally give them a go. I’m not gonna bother finding a cool still for this show as every episode is different. It’s on Netflix, I watched Season 1 & 2. There’s only a few episodes in each you’ll be done in no time.

9/10 – Would watch again, other than peppa pig scene that was uncomfortable viewing at best.
